Recently I committed to take the FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot in Command test and passed with 80%. I wanted to get a better feeling for what it took to study, schedule and pass the exam so I’d have a better understanding of what you have already done or will be doing in the near future. Plus I felt really guilty not being able to handle the exact thing that I provide to golf courses across the country, like a car salesman that can’t drive the cars he or she is selling. I wanted to “put myself in your shoes”

Next week, GreenSight will be sending a team of engineers to JIFX 19-3, a tactical field experiment event, to evaluate the utility of our fully automated security solution. Our experiment focuses on how unattended drones flying continuously over an area, can be used to detect and monitor changes in the environment such as disturbed soil, vehicle movement and personnel movement. We’ll be leveraging all our drone and machine learning technology to pull it off, gathering valuable feedback from the user community and a rich dataset we can use to hone our analytics and alerts.

I’m sure the start of the year has been busy, especially if you’re in northern climates! With a relatively light snowfall, aeration practices have begun or will be in process over the next few weeks. GreenSight headquarters has also been extremely busy! Our sales team has been meeting with existing customers and bringing new ones into the sky! Our software/development team has been busy working on new integrations such as Spectrum Technologies TDR350 moisture meter data and continuing to perfect our industry-leading flight time Dreamer drone. Our flight ops team is not only continuing to fly and produce incredible imagery
