GreenSight Agronomics aims to reduce golf courses’ water and chemical costs through aerial drone imaging, offering superintendents more detailed information about their golf courses from a brand new perspective.

The daily drone imaging and turf analysis currently provides superintendents with high resolution maps, turf health index maps and 3-D terrain models of the course. One inch resolution images allow superintendents to pan, zoom and explore each hole like never before. Meanwhile, false color relative turf health index (NDVI) images highlight trouble spots to help identify irrigation and turf issues. Non-distorted 3-D terrain maps include GPS reference points that are compatible with third party systems.

By spring 2016, GreenSight will expand its services with a daily over-flight system monitoring soil moisture, detecting pests and pathogens, and delivering daily alerts to users.
