GreenSight is proud to announce its partnership with Wesco Turf. Wesco will be the exclusive regional distributor of GreenSight’s TurfCloud management platform and TurfSight drone intelligence platform to golf courses in their territory which includes most of Florida and southern counties in Georgia.
Wesco Turf, Inc. was created in 1987 when William (Bill) Gamble III purchased Wesco Zaun from the Toro Company. Bill originally had a background in the hardware business, most recently taking part in the buyout group that bought McCulloch Chain Saw from Black and Decker. Bill came to Wesco with a simple philosophy: "If you take care of your customers and associates, the business will take care of itself. Superior parts and customer service has been the hallmark of our company. We hire great people and put them in the right job. We manage to have some fun as well.”
Wesco has won over 100 awards from its vendors including ‘Distributor of Excellence’ from Toro four times! Wesco is a key distributor of Toro, Club Car utility vehicles, Bernhard reel and bedknife grinders, Salsco turf rollers, Flowtronex and MCI pump stations, American Flow Control, Clow gate valves, Harco ductile iron and PVC fittings, Lasco swing joints and slip fittings, Nibco valves, Carson valve boxes, Baldwin filters, and a few other commercial product lines including GreenSight aerial intelligence.
“We are very excited about this partnership with Greensight and what it means for today’s Golf Course Superintendent. The benefit from the GreenSight technology combined with the innovations of the TORO product line is an excellent path to stay ahead in the fast pace world of Golf Course Management. This technology provides a preemptive look at the ever-changing course conditions and allows the superintendent to get ahead of potential issues and manage their resources precisely. Our world has changed and the GreenSight technology will help our customers become better environmental stewards,” comments Dave Rogers, Director of Golf Irrigation for Wesco Turf, Inc.
