Senior Embedded Systems Engineer

We are seeking an intelligent, intellectually curious and highly-capable Embedded Systems Engineer to be a high-level contributor on the development of software for our drones and other robotic systems. You will scope, plan, and execute embedded systems development and implementation across GreenSight's technology portfolio including drones, ground systems, cameras, and electronics. You should be comfortable working semi-autonomously while meeting long-term goals.

Qualifications / Requirements

Attributes relevant to the position include:

  • BS or MS in software engineering or computer science and 3+ years work experience
  • Experience with a variety of programming languages. Must have experience with C++ and Python,  BASH and C would be highly valuable.
  • Experience developing software on embedded Linux platforms and real time operating systems on ARM and X86 architecture.
  • Experience with Nvidia Jetson and/or Xilinx Kria hardware platforms.
  • Experience with device driver development over UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, Ethernet
  • Linux distro management tools experience including Debian, Yocto and/or Buildroot style distributions
  • Working with container based software deployment tools such as Docker.
  • Building minimal linux images for deployment as virtual machines.
  • Familiarity with software development process tools such as git, Jira, bitbucket
  • Good written/verbal communication and time management skills

Compensation / Benefits

Salary for this position, starting at $140k, is strongly based on experience and education. We anticipate hiring multiple candidates at various levels of experience. Compensation package includes stock options, health insurance, short and long term disability, and 401k with match. GreenSight offers a 9/80 flexible work schedule (every other Friday off), and gives everyone the week between Christmas and New Years off in addition to their 15 days of paid vacation.

Southwest Region Sales Representative

Job Description

We are seeking a smart, highly-capable sales professional to sell our tech services and products to turfgrass customers in the southwest region of the United States. These services and products include the TurfCloud software dashboard, our cutting edge drone service, robotic mowers, soil moisture sensors, and additional software-based services.

The candidate must be a resident of Arizona prepared to work from their home office. Candidate must be a self starter with an entrepreneurial spirit, a sense of urgency, and the ability to treat every potential sale as if you own the company. Although a library of interested leads will be shared and discussed with the candidate once hired, you must be capable of creating your own 'leads’. The candidate must be capable of understanding and implementing the company's technological tools after a short training period. The desired candidate should be able to make sales via screen shares/web casts as successfully as they sell through face-to-face meetings.   

Qualifications / Requirements

  • An associates degree in turf management, environmental horticulture, or equivalent
  • Experience working in the golf course or turfgrass production environment
  • At least 5 years work experience
  • Demonstrated comfort with web and cloud based tools such as Slack, email, and webcasting

Electrical Engineer

GreenSight is seeking candidates looking to be involved in scaling autonomous robotic systems globally in ways that have never been done before.

We are seeking a hands-on and versatile electrical engineer to help design and produce the growing range of avionics, sensors, propulsion systems, radios and cameras that we use on our UAVs and robots. You must be comfortable rolling up your sleeves and tackling any electronic problem that arises.

GreenSight works on cutting edge technologies and assumes that employees will routinely learn new skills on the job. We value creativity, drive and proven ability to pick up new skills over specific past experience and skills.

Qualifications / Requirements

Core skills we are looking for:

  • Circuit and PCB design software such as KiCAD or Altium
  • Familiarity with setting up and using electrical test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and spectrum analyzers
  • Electrical test and acceptance test design and implementation
  • Electrical prototyping skills including soldering and reflow SMT components, breadboarding proto circuits, and modifying PCBAs
  • Familiarity with PCB production and assembly

Desired, but not required, experience:

  • Aircraft electronics, avionics and sensors
  • Microcontrollers and associated circuits
  • Power electronics such as switch mode supplies, BLDC motor controllers and battery management circuits
  • Integration of imaging sensors and camera systems
  • RF design and test
  • Project leadership and proposals

Compensation / Benefits

Salary for this position is strongly dependent on experience and education and expected to be between $90k and $140k.  We anticipate hiring multiple individuals at various levels of seniority.

Compensation package includes stock options, health/dental/vision insurance, disability insurance, life insurance, 401K, generous holiday and time-off allowance.
